	Dermatology	Especially at our high altitude with less protective atmosphere between us and the harmful UV rays of the sun, sound dermatology is a must. Dr. Carroll can boast of vastly more dermatology training, and experience, than most family practitioners. Having volunteered to extend medical school by a month specifically to have the opportunity to spend that time training under the Cheif of Dermatology at Creighton University, Dr. Carroll opted for two elective dermatology rotations in residency (whereas most Family Practitioners take one or none). Years of experience in the United States Air Force have honed Dr. Carroll's cosmetic surgical skills to a very high level. Sub-specialty training and certification also make Dr. Carroll one of the few providers in the greater Colorado Springs area with certification to prescribe Accutane.
